Driving uninsured
T(b)
ORS > Vehicle Code > Insurance > 806.010
(1) operating a motor vehicle on highway or premises open to the public without:
(a) being insured under a motor vehicle liability insurance policy meeting requirements of 806.080 (Insurance) while driving the vehicle OR
(b) providing DOT with other satisfactory proof of compliance with Oregon's financial responsibility requirements
Failure to carry proof of compliance with financial responsibility requirements
T(b)
ORS > Vehicle Code > Insurance > 806.012
(1) Operates a motor vehicle & doesn't have in vehicle current proof of compliance with financial responsibility requirements
(3) Doesn't apply:
(a) operating motor vehicles that are exempt from requirements in 806.020 (Exemptions from financial responsibility requirements)
(b) If LEO verifies proof of compliance through LEDS
Giving false information about liability insurance to LEO
M(b)
ORS > Vehicle Code > Insurance > 806.055
(1) knowingly gives false information about their motor vehicle liability insurance coverage to any LEO enforcing motor vehicle laws.
