801.395: Law Enforcement Officer - specifically police officer. includes a member of the Oregon State Police, a sheriff, a deputy sheriff, a city police officer, an authorized tribal police officer (1), a police officer commissioned by a university, a Port of Portland peace officer, a reserve officer or a law enforcement officer employed by a service district established... for the purpose of law enforcement services.

166.660(4)(d): any duly constituted police officer of the United States, any state, any political subdivision of a state or the District of Columbia, and also includes members of the military reserve forces or National Guard as defined in 10 U.S.C. 101 (9), members of the organized militia of any state or territory of the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or the District of Columbia not included within the definition of National Guard as defined by 10 U.S.C. 101 (9), members of the Armed Forces of the United States and peace officers when in the performance of official duties
