- Call work centre to verify standby is authorised and not already given
- If no standby is available
- Refer respondent to court
- If standby is authorised
- Contact petitioner by phone to arrange a convenient time
- Accompany respondent'
- Standby time allowed is up to 20 minutes
- Can collect essential belongings only: clothes, medications, tools of trade, ID, etc…
- Notify Dispatch when standby is complete
- Notify work centre when standby is complete
