Unlawful contact with a child

ORS > Criminal Code > Children & Minors (Non-sex) > 163.479

(1) the suspect:

(a)(A) is designated a sexually violent dangerous offender

(B) is classified as a level 3 sex offender per 163A.100(3) (sexually violent dangerous offenders)

(C) is an unclassified adult sex offender designated as predatory prior to Jan 1, 2014

(D) has been sentenced as a dangerous offender per 161.725 (standards for sentencing of dangerous offenders) on conviction of a sex crime OR

(E) has been given a similar designation or been sentenced under a similar law in another jurisdiction AND

(b) knowingly contacts a child with the intent to commit a crime or for the purpose of arousing or satisfying the suspect's or another person's sexual desires
