Exemptions from motorcycle helmet requirements
ORS > Vehicle Code > Motorcycle & Moped > 814.290
a person is not in violation of:
• 814.260 (failure of moped operator to wear motorcycle helmet)
• 814.269 (failure of motorcycle operator to wear motorcycle helmet)
• 814.275
• 814.260 (failure of moped operator to wear motorcycle helmet)
if they do any of:
(1) riding within an enclosed cab
(2) operate or ride a vehicle designed to travel with 3 wheels contacting the ground at less than 15 mph
