Illegal U-turn

ORS > Vehicle Code > Turns > 811.365

(1) T(c): turn vehicle to proceed in opposite direction in any of the following:

(a) within an intersection where traffic controlled by electrical signal unless posted otherwise

(b) on a highway within the limits of an incorporated city between intersections

(c) any place on highway where vehicle can't be seen by another driver approaching from either direction within:

(A) 500ft within incorporated city limits OR

(B) 1,000ft outside a city

(2) T(b): offense contributes to an accident
