Unlawful tree spiking

(1) F(c): A person commits the crime of unlawful tree spiking if the person knowingly drives or places in any tree or saw log, without the prior consent of the owner thereof, any iron, steel or other substance sufficiently hard to damage saws or wood manufacturing or processing equipment with intent to cause inconvenience, annoyance or alarm to any other person.
(2) Except as provided in subsection (3) of this section, unlawful tree spiking is a Class C felony.
(4) M(a): Any person who possesses, with the intent to use in violation of paragraphs (1) to (3) any iron, steel or other substance sufficiently hard to damage saws or wood manufacturing or processing equipment.
